Beat The Deck is running a $10 CAD giveaway tied to the Classic Mode global leaderboard. This page explains exactly who qualifies, how a winner is determined, and the conditions that apply. Specific giveaway dates will be announced on the homepage and may be updated at the operator's discretion.
Current Payout Date July 31 2026 10am EST
1. Which Mode Counts
This giveaway applies only to Classic Mode — the standard 52-card higher/lower game whose results appear on the Global Leaderboard. Gauntlet Mode (the prediction/coin gauntlet game) is a separate coin-based mode and is not eligible for this giveaway under any circumstances, regardless of any score, payout, or run achieved there.
2. Core Eligibility Requirements
To qualify to win, a player must meet all of the following at the time the giveaway period ends:
-
Registered account required. The player must have a valid,
registered Beat The Deck account created through Signup.
Scores submitted as a guest (no account, including any entry labeled
[Guest]on the leaderboard) are not eligible to win, even if the score ranks #1. - Valid email address on file. The account's email must be a real, working address capable of receiving a reply. Disposable/temporary email addresses, fake addresses, or addresses that bounce when contacted will disqualify an otherwise-winning entry.
- Account in good standing. The account must not be banned, restricted, or under review for suspected cheating, exploit use, scripting, automation, or score manipulation as described in the Terms of Service.
- Minimum age. The player must be at least 13 years old, consistent with the site's general age requirement.
- Legitimate gameplay. The qualifying score must come from a normal, unassisted, single playthrough. Use of bots, macros, multiple simultaneous accounts, or any bug/glitch to inflate a score voids eligibility for that score.
- One account per person. Each person may enter with one account only. If multiple accounts are found to belong to the same person, only the earliest-created account (if otherwise eligible) may be considered, and the duplicate entries are disqualified.
3. How the Winner Is Determined
At the end of the giveaway period, the Classic Mode Global Leaderboard is checked, ranked by score, highest to lowest (the same ranking shown on the Leaderboard page).
- The player holding the #1 ranked entry at the close of the giveaway period is the prize candidate.
- That entry is then checked against Section 2 above. If it meets every requirement, that player wins the $10 CAD prize.
4. If the #1 Entry Is a Guest or Otherwise Ineligible
If the top-ranked entry belongs to a guest (no account), or otherwise fails any eligibility requirement in Section 2, no prize is awarded for that giveaway period. The prize does not roll down to the 2nd place entry, to the next eligible registered account, or to any other player. The $10 CAD simply is not paid out for that cycle, and a new giveaway period may begin under the same rules.
This is intentional: the giveaway is meant to reward registered, verifiable players, not guest play, and there is no "runner-up" prize.
5. Prize Details
- The prize is a one-time payment of $10.00 CAD per giveaway period.
- The prize has no cash-equivalent substitution requirement — it is already cash/e-transfer style value, paid in Canadian dollars.
- There is no purchase necessary to enter or win. Entry is simply through normal, free gameplay.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be assigned to another person or account.
- Only one prize is awarded per giveaway period, to one winning account.
6. Winner Notification & Claim Process
- The winner will be contacted using the email address on file for their account.
- The winner must respond to the notification within a reasonable claim window (typically 7 days) to claim the prize.
- If the winner does not respond within the claim window, cannot be reached, or cannot be verified as meeting Section 2, the prize is forfeited and is not awarded to any other player for that period (see Section 4).
- The operator may request reasonable verification (such as confirming account/email ownership) before sending the prize.
7. Verification & Anti-Abuse
Scores and accounts may be reviewed before a prize is paid out. The operator reserves the right to:
- Disqualify any score or account suspected of cheating, exploiting, scripting, or manipulation, per the Terms of Service.
- Request additional confirmation that the account and email belong to a real, single individual.
- Remove a leaderboard entry that does not reflect legitimate gameplay, before or after a giveaway period ends.
- Delay, withhold, or cancel a prize where eligibility cannot reasonably be confirmed.
8. General Conditions
- This giveaway is provided at the sole discretion of the Beat The Deck operator and may be modified, paused, extended, or discontinued at any time, including before a period ends.
- These rules may be updated. The version posted at the time a giveaway period closes governs that period.
- This giveaway is void where prohibited by law.
- Participation in this giveaway is also governed by the site's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Employees, operators, or anyone directly involved in administering the giveaway (if applicable) and their immediate family are not eligible to win.
❓ Quick FAQ
I'm #1 but I played as a guest. Do I win?
No. Guest entries are never eligible, regardless of rank. You would need to create a free account and resubmit a qualifying score under that account before the giveaway period ends.
I have an account but used a fake/temporary email. Do I qualify?
No. Your account email must be real and reachable, since that is how you will be contacted if you win.
Does my Gauntlet Mode performance count toward this giveaway?
No. Only Classic Mode scores on the Global Leaderboard are considered. Gauntlet Mode is entirely separate and not part of this giveaway.
What happens if I'm #1 when the period ends but I'm later found to have cheated?
Your entry is disqualified, and per Section 4, the prize is not paid out to anyone else for that period.
How do I make sure I qualify?
Create a free account on the Signup page with a real email address, play Classic Mode legitimately, and submit your score from the game-over screen while logged in.
